3 skin care homemade natural products for after sunbathing!

After a relaxing day at the beach your skin requires special attention. Although the sun gives us that golden tan everybody chases during summer, it can actually do a lot of harm towards your skin, even if you use UV lotion. Here are 3 natural treatments to refresh your skin after sunbathing:

Scrubbing cream

You need:

  • 10g of polenta flour
  • 60g of oat flour
  • 2 tablespoons of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons of mineral water
  • 6 drops of orange essential oil

How to use it:  Mix all the above ingredients until homogenous. Massage the skin gently with it for a few minutes. At the end of the treatment you can use olive oil to re-hydrate the skin. You can also use almond oil or sesame oil, the latter being fantastic against sunburns.

Calming lotion

You need:

  • 250ml of aloe juice or gel
  • 20 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops of rosemary essential oil

How to use it: Mix all the reminded ingredients well and transfer them in an empty and clean spray bottle for easy use. Spray your skin with it after getting back from the beach. You can keep the lotion in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.
