If you lead a stressful life and do not eat properly, you’re prone to getting acne. Here are 9 fantastic natural remedies that will help you deal with this problem:
- Red Clay
Mix one teaspoon of clay with a few drops of water and lavender oil (put just as many drops as it would take to make a smooth paste, not runny but not too dry). Apply the remedy only on affected areas and leave over night to act.
- Apple cider vinegar
Dilute with water (50/50) and apply on face once or twice a day. You can leave it on and not rinse. If you feel any discomfort, rinse immediately.
- Lemon juice
Mix an equal amount of rose water and lemon juice and apply on affected areas. Leave to act for a few hours. Rinse.
- Honey and mustard
Mix a pinch of mustard powder with a teaspoon of honey and apply it like a mask. Leave to act for 15 minutes and then rinse.
- Green tea and ice
Make some green tea and leave it to cool. Put it in an ice tray and after it freezes use the cubes to gently rub the affected areas.
Cut a tomato in half and use it to rub the acne affected areas once or twice a day.
- Essential oils
In a teaspoon of water dilute a drop of lavender essential oil or tea tree oil and apply on affected areas. Use this method rarely (like once every 2-3 weeks) because essential oils used in excess come with a lot of side effects.
- Egg white
Simply apply egg white on the affected area and leave on for 30 minutes. For better results you can mix it with lemon juice or honey.
Cut a piece of garlic and gently damp the acne/pimples with it. Wait as much as you can before rinsing it. Make sure you gently damp the piece of garlic and not rub it, or you’ll end up burning your skin.
