Not happy with your hair’s appearance? Here are 5 masks which you can easily do at home to help your hair regain its beauty and health:
- Eggs and yogurt
The hair mask based on eggs and yogurt gives your hair volume and deep-cleans it. The 2 ingredients which you need to put together this amazing mask are: 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of yogurt (or 2 depending on your hair length). Mix them together and apply the obtained mixture on the entire length of your hair and also on your scalp and leave to act for 15 minutes. Wash your hair.
For this mask you will need: 1 cucumber, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Peel the cucumber, grate it and mix it with the other ingredients. Apply the mask on your hair and leave to act for 10 minutes. This mask will leave your hair shiny and silky smooth.
- Clay and tea
Depending on your hair length mix a little bit of clay (a tablespoon or two) with chamomile or green tea, so that you get a smooth paste, not too runny but not too dry. Massage your scalp and apply the mask on the entire length of your hair. The acting time for this mask is 15 minutes. This mask is especially helpful for dry, deteriorated hair.
To make this mask you will need to boil a handful or parsley in a little bit of water (just to cover it and prevent it from burning in the pot), puree it and mix it with 3 tablespoons of olive oil (if you have short hair one tablespoon of olive oil is enough). Apply the obtained paste on your hair and scalp and leave to act for 15 minutes. You can use this mask every week. You will get instant results as the mask has powerful hydrating properties.
This mask is especially beneficial for your hair after a long day at the beach. To make this mask you will need 1 banana, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Apply the mask on your hair and wait 30 minutes before washing it. Make sure you only apply the mask on your hair length. Avoid applying it on your scalp due to the fact that it is quite greasy. If you do apply it on your scalp and end up with greasy hair, use baking soda mixed with water to get the residues out.
